Annual General Meeting

    Thursday 16th October 2008 at 8.00pm, at The Pavilion. A good

    representation of members would be appreciated as the club enters

    its150th Anniversary season. Full members will be notified by post in due

    course. All other grades of membership should take this as notification

    in line with club rules.

  

    Awards Night

     Saturday 11th October at 8.00pm sharp.

     Awards, presentations, buffet supper and music to follow.

     Tickets £10, under 13s £5. Contact Alan Stoops to book your place

     on or before Monday 6th October. Everyone Welcome.

  

     New Kit

     Armagh Cricket Club hope to be placing a order in the next few weeks

     for some KUKRI Kit which proved a massive success this season. More

  

     Some Kit Left

     As the season draws to a close, there is still some kit left to sell. 

     Check the shop area for pictures, prizes and stock. Contact Gareth

     Matches Fall Victim Of The Weather AGAIN! 
     This weeks scheduled matches for Saturday and Sunday have been
     called off due to the extreme weather conditions. The 1sts were both
     canceled meaning that they are realisticly down while the Fourths game
     was canceled on Sunday with them just itching to win the league.

  

    Firsts lose out at home

    Armagh hosted Downpatrick in what looked to be a make or break

    league game at the bottom end of the league table as the home side

    needed to win some of their matches pretty quickly while their illustrious

    opponents were having a nightmare season by their own standards in

    their first ever Section Two campaign. Report

    

     Depleated Armagh Team defeated

     A heavily depleted Armagh side travelled to league leaders Ballymena

     on Bank Holiday Monday hoping to get an unexpected victory to boost

     their survival hopes. Report

    

     Seconds defeated on road

     Armagh seconds lost out to Downpatrick by 4 wickets on Saturday

     but considering they travelled with nine players due to some late

     withdrawels.

    

     Fourths say top

     The forths game against Waringstown was called off on Saturday due 

     to a unplayable back pitch on The Mall. They now have 3 matches to

     play, meaning if they win them all they will be crowned champions and

     promoted to division 3 section 2.
